Seeing Jesus in Psalm 45

Psalm 45 I’m excited about this Psalm since it for me is so clear that it is about Jesus. Whenever I hear about any king in the Bible, history or the news, I know it is a reminder of my King. I like to think about and be reminded of Jesus, my king. I’m so proud to serve Him. So this Psalm points in many ways to the beauty of my King, Jesus. The writers of the Psalm seem to have felt the same way.  Main Point: Jesus is the God King. I see three things that are further developed and revealed about Jesus the king in the Bible.  God makes Jesus the ultimate King. Jesus makes the church His glorious bride Jesus makes His followers rulers with Him. God makes Jesus the ultimate King. The trinity is not easy for us to get a grip on, and then the special nature of Jesus being 100% God and 100% man is just mind-blowing. This is why we often stumble when we try to pick out the details of power and authority in God's description of his King. Thankfully we are not alone in our struggle. Th...
